Using your Title Three, Title Five, Title Nine, Categorical and/or Discretionary funds (etc.), Ableza can now provide you with our extensive bank of professional artists to conduct teacher workshops for your In-Service Days or weekend Institutes, as well as in-class presentations and programs.

Arts Disciplines and their related academic curricular areas:

*Literary: Oral tradition, Drama, Poetry, Language Arts, Social Studies, Short Story, Script writing for Math, Science, existing Radio, T.V. and Film.

*High-tech Arts: Radio, T.V., Film and Video, Computer graphics. Morning Announcements, Math, Science, Social Studies, publishing and broadcasting, existing Music program.

* Traditional Arts: Native American Story Social Studies, Language Arts, Storytelling, basketry, bead work, pottery, leather work, dance, music, much more. Math, Living Skills, Natural Sciences, existing Music program.

* Cultural History: Ableza can provide presentations about the cultural history of Native peoples and tips on how to incorporate the *real* stories of our peoples into your history classes.

Visual: Sculpture, painting, sketching, textiles, murals, illustration. Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science.

Dance: Ballet, folk, modern, jazz, contemporary (street, etc.). Social Studies, Math, existing Music program, Science.

Music: Composition, vocal, performance, lyrics. Social Studies, Math, existing Music program, Language Arts.

These are proven programs by Ableza artists/arts educators and have been utilized in schools for over the past ten years in the Bay and South Bay areas. Each arts discipline is specifically designed to integrate into all grade levels and subject areas of California State Framework Curricula. Each workshop includes lesson plans, thematic planning and integrated instruction guidelines, planning and teaching for multiple intelligences, enhancements for Language Enrichment (E.S.L.) Remedial and Gate programs, cooperative learning techniques and "how to" materials in addition to the "hands on" teachers' workshops. Ableza is a 501-(c)(3) educational corporation.
